National Vietnam War Veterans Day
March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. ALL VETERANS WHO SERVED IN THE US MILITARY DURING THE VIETNAM WAR ARE RECOGNIZED. Vietnam veterans, Vietnam era veterans, Vietnamese veterans, families, and friends are welcome to celebrate this day with us at the Arizona Military Museum. This day should not be confused with Veterans Day. Vietnam War memorabilia will be distributed.
WHERE: Arizona Military Museum 5636 East McDowell Road National Guard HQ, Phoenix, AZ
WHEN: Sunday, March 29, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
ADMISSION: FREE. Please show driver’s license or Military ID to gate guard.
FREE ADMISSION
Light refreshments will be served all day until gone.
Short ceremony at 2:00 pm.
Honor Vietnam Veterans!
The Arizona Military Museum– large room depicting and honoring Vietnam veterans.
Displays with artifacts, weapons, art, uniforms, gun jeep with M-60, ZPU-4 NVA antiaircraft gun, and U.S. “Huey” gunship help tell the Vietnam story.
