Subject: The Passing of Frank Meyers, Past Commander
Hello everyone,
The report came this morning that Frank Meyers passed away this weekend. Details are not yet available. I’ll let you know when I get them.
Frank was very active in the American Legion and 40&8. He had been Commander of Post 134 (first one, I believe), Commander of District 11, and Chef de Gare (Commander) of Voiture Locale 1154 of 40&8. He was Commander of each for at least 2 years. Recently he served as Commander of Post 5. For years he actively supported and raised funds for Tolleson High School Marine JROTC.
I will report further info as it comes from Commander Post 5, Eddie Martin and elsewhere.
