Hello Veteran and Veteran Supporters,
The purpose of the Casa Veterans Ministry (CVM) is to respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of service members, veterans and their families offering a welcoming and compassionate environment. As such, we are a partner organization in the Arizona Coalition for Military Families and actively involved on its’ Faith-Based Initiative subcommittee.
Based on our involvement there, CVM would like to recommend a Christian-themed movie that is coming up over the next week.
It is called WE ARE STRONGER and explores a veteran’s battle with PTSD. In the movie, a veteran, Victor Raphael, struggles to recover from his injuries, reclaim his marriage, and fit back into the civilian world, he discovers he can’t do it alone. The movie highlights the importance of spirituality in healing.
With the generous support of Harkins Theaters, it is being shown at two valley theaters from May 18 – 24, 2018. Standard ticket prices apply (range from $7.50 – 10.50).
