The 24/7 Be Connected support line is available to everyone.
Who can call?
Anyone. Whether you need help and support for you or your family or whether you are helping someone else, this service is available to you statewide.
Who answers the phone?
During business hours, the line is answered by the Be Connected program coordinator, who is trained to assist with any type of call.
If the coordinator is not available and your call isn’t urgent, you can leave a message that will be returned within 24 business hours.
If the coordinator isn’t available and you have an urgent need, you can be connected immediately to a crisis counselor who can assist you with next steps.
What can I call about?
The Be Connected line is a support line, which means you don’t have to be experiencing a crisis situation to call. Anyone who needs support can call. Here are some examples of when someone might use this line:
- You need help finding resources for yourself or your family.
- You are concerned about a friend who seems to be struggling and are not sure what, if anything, you should do next.
- You are trying to help a family member but are encountering a lot of barriers and reasons why they don’t want help and you need guidance about ways to support them.
- You want to be better equipped to help people in your community and want to know more about how to get involved.
- You feel overwhelmed.
