3 Apr (Saturday) – Blood Drive with Vitalant Blood Services at American Legion Post 62, 9847 W. Desert Cove Ave., Peoria AZ from 8 am to 12 noon in our Bingo Hall.You can enter on the north end of the building where the flag pole is located. Signs will also be posted to assist in finding us.
For those that have never been to our big red brick building before, we are located on the east side of 99th Ave, north of Peoria and south of Sun City Blvd; between the Oriental House Restaurant and the Immanuel Campus of Care.
Vitalant would like a minimum of 28 volunteer donors to register in advance in order to hold a blood bank/drive – more would be better for those who cancel at the last moment (hey, things happen!).
Vitalant prefers that blood donors pre-register at Bloodhero.com. Doing so will ensure that Vitalant knows before the blood donor shows up that they are eligible to donate. The Sponsor Code: legion62
Our Post 62 volunteers (me) will call donors the day prior to their appointment to ensure they will be there.
