Good afternoon VSO Partners:
I wanted to share with you a situation that occurred recently that you may get inquiries about or your may have received directly. Recently, there was a technical error during the mailing process for appointments at the new Phoenix 32nd Street Clinic. Around 3400 Veterans received letters incorrectly stating their appointments were being moved to the new clinic. We are sending follow-up letters to those Veterans who received the erroneous letters to let them know their appointments and care team will continue to be located at their regular VA clinic location. Only Primary Care and/or Mental Health appointments from Midtown, Thunderbird, and Carl T. Hayden VAMC are moving to the new location. We apologize for this miscommunication.
Veterans with questions can be directed to contact the Phoenix VA Patient Call Center at 602-277-5551.
If you get questions from Veterans who get their care from anywhere other than Midtown, Tbird or the Carl T. Hayden facilities about the letter – it was in error and a new letter should be arriving soon. Thank you for helping us with this communication and correction as partners in Veterans health care.
