UPDATE: D-backs Baseball — American Legion and VFW Joint Ops for a Great evening, 22 May 2026
This posting is an update to a previous message about an upcoming D-backs and Rockies baseball game on Friday evening, 22 May 2026, at Chase Field in Phoenix. The D-backs offered some very nice accommodations for veterans, families, and friends for the game: Ticket cost is $58.65 (including taxes and fees) and gets you a veterans-themed Diamondbacks Baseball Cap, a $20 food and beverage voucher, a bench seat in sections 102-103 in right-center field (where lots of homeruns are hit), a special fireworks show, and our joint-group use of the Coors Light Strike Zone Patio for food, drink, and a great view of the game.
UPDATE for this posting and video: Enough tickets have been sold to allow our group sole access to the Strike Zone…see the video below for pictures. We also keep our bench seats so you can sit in either location to enjoy the game.
The game starts at 6:40 p.m., but we will be allowed two hours prior to watch pregame activities and warm up for the evening’s festivities.

NOTE: It is a Friday evening game, so remember to dress appropriately for RED SHIRT FRIDAY...a RED Polo or T-shirt as we “Remember Everyone Deployed.” There is a maximum of 500 tickets for our joint American Legion/VFW exercise... so let’s buy as many tickets as we can before they are gone.
