2023 American Legion Baseball Announcement
As your newly appointed Department Chairman for the Legion Baseball Committee, I welcome and invite everyone to come out and support the Department Championship playoffs. Whether you are living or visiting in the area or just plain love Legion Baseball, stop by and enjoy the playoffs. This is truly one of our country’s national pastimes and one of the oldest programs in The American Legion having been established in 1925.
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don’t care if I never get back
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don’t win it’s a shame
For it’s one, two, three strikes, you’re out

TUCSON AREA “A” LEGION BASEBALL SEASON FINAL
Top 4 teams that will advance to the Department State Tournament beginning July 11 at the Kino Sports Complex:
1st seed: Post 7 Tucson
2nd seed: Post 8 Vista Grande Spartans
3rd seed; Post 73 Crush
4th seed: Mica Bolts
Solid season here Tucson. Very competitive league once again.
The Department Tournament will begin Tuesday July 11 at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Field 5 starting at 6:10pm.
