| Recently, Governor Ducey offered welcomed grant assistance to the Arizona restaurant industry that we are grateful for and happy to share with you through this resource page. In order to assist restaurants with the process of extending their premises and accessing available grants, the Arizona Restaurant Association (ARA) launched the Safest Outside: Extension of Premises website.
The new website will outline the basic steps operators need to take to extend their outdoor dining area and how to access the grant funds announced by Governor Ducey on Wednesday. The grant application will go live on Monday, December 7, 2020 and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Because one of the requirements is for a restaurant to have already received permission from their local governing body before applying for the grant, the ARA encourages all operators to start that process now.
