20 April 2022 is quickly approaching and that means the deadline for Arizona American Legion Boys State registrations will be here.
Do you know what Boys State and Boys Nation are? If you do not, please read below. For many, this experience is a dream come true and has changed the lives of many kids over the course of history. Please help us find kids who want to attend this magnificent event.
We currently have 108 students registered, thirteen whose registrations were started and not completed, and 2 or 3 students who submitted forms to Department Headquarters but have not completed the details.
Over the last two years with COVID-19 on the horizon a number of key players related to Boys State have retired leaving a gap in the communication between the Arizona American Legion Boys State Counsel and the high schools; the team that would normally generate many of the registrations in the state. We need to target over one hundred more registrations to keep this event at maximum participation.
Like no time before we must all come together to make this historic program a success. Please hit the streets TODAY and talk to your high school counselors, school staff, and students. All registrations must be fully submitted NLT 20 April 2022.
