1. CARES Act Awaiting Approval
Today, the House has voted and the POTUS is expected to sign the CARES Act, which will provide relief to US residents and businesses. One of the most encouraging sections of the CARES Act is the nearly $350B available for small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program. 2. Arizona@Work Job Portal
The Arizona Department of Econoic Security (DES), Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), and Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) have partnered together to create the Arizona@Work free job portal for job seekers and employers. At Arizona@Work, employers will also find resources specific to employee training programs, recruitment resources and workforce reduction support. 3. Gov. Ducey’s Launch of ArizonaTogether.org
Governor Ducey launched Arizona Together as a resource designed to support AZ individuals and businesses. At ArizonaTogether.org, you can also find volunteer and donation opportunities to support non-profits and local organizations working to provide relief during the COVID-19 outbreak. #AZTogether
