Congratulations to the newest graduating class of the Arizona Legion College. August 14th through the 16th, a select group of Legion members from across the state of Arizona participated in a very rugged, grueling, and demanding classroom setting, averaging 12 hours a day, hosted by Post 27 in Apache Junction.
Some topics and lessons learned ranged from legal issues, constitution/bylaws, writing resolutions, addressing formal and organized presentations, Meeting structure using Robert’s Rules, and membership retention.
These graduates are encouraging all to attend. “It will change your outlook on what the Legion is really all about.” The Arizona Legion College is for every member of the Legion, Sons, and Auxiliary. It is a great networking tool, helping create new friendships and beginnings throughout the state.
The facilitators are among the best The American Legion has to offer, recognized at the National Legion level for their skills and teaching abilities.
