I was invited, along with Post 3 of Flagstaff, to participate in the Camp Navajo MWR day on July 18th. The Arizona National Guard 856 MP Company was participating in its Annual Tour (2 weeks) at Camp Navajo in Bellemont, west of Flagstaff.
They were a great group of men and women from around Arizona who serve our state and country. We served them a hot lunch and visited with them for a couple of hours during their downtime.
They returned from their latest one-year deployment in the Central Command area of operations in January 2025. I thanked them for their continued service.
