We congratulate the Crush, sponsored by Oro Valley Post 132, on their win against Post 109 on Sunday, July 26 at the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson. The Crush took and early lead and were able to continually increase the lead until the game was called in the top of the 7th inning with a score of 11-1. The Cats of Post 109 fought valiantly, but the Crush proved they were not to be denied.
The Crush will now move forward to the Western Regional Tournament in Fairfield, CA from August 5-9. If they win the Western Region they will move on to The American Legion World Series to be held in Shelby, NC on August 13-18. You may want to book your hotel rooms now as the hotels are filling up.
We want to congratulate all the teams that participated in our Arizona League this year. We continue to grow in the number of teams, and 2027 looks very promising.
