Seeking Nominations for Fourth Annual Veterans of Distinction Award
U.S. SENATE—Today, U.S. Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) announced that her office is accepting nominations for the Fourth Annual Congressional Veterans of Distinction Award. The award recognizes veterans from across Arizona who continue to go above and beyond to serve their communities.
“Duty, service, and selflessness are some of the defining characteristics of those who serve in our military,” saidMcSally. “It has been an honor to recognize the outstanding individuals from Southern Arizona for this award over the previous three years and I am pleased to continue this program for all Arizonans. If you know any outstanding veterans, please give our office a call.”
The Veterans of Distinction Award is open to any resident of Arizona who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The nominations will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished veterans and the winner will be recognized at an awards ceremony with McSally in August.
