In celebration, honoring the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King today at American Legion Post 65. The American Legion Department of Arizona, today also advances a Resolution to our US Congress to award the Congressional Gold Medal to the members of the 6888th Central Postal Directory; they were Women’s Army Corps, 855 African American women who earned and deserve this distinction during World War II.
