Commanders & Adjutants,
The June 30 target date for Consolidated Post Report (CPR) recognition for the department at the 103rd National Convention in Milwaukee is fast approaching. We thank all of you for the hard work that you and your posts have done and continue to do this year. We also want to recognize you all for your success supporting the programs of The American Legion. Commander Dillard is very interested in each post getting credit for what they are doing daily in their communities for the good of our veterans and their families. The CPR is an important recognition of the work done within your departments.
As of today, we have received and recorded 6,084 CPRs from our 12,312 American Legion posts for a completion rate of 49.4%. Many departments established a deadline of mid-June for 100 percent CPR reporting to the department, and we are ready to tabulate those immediately upon receipt at Geiger Operations Center. Please, have your leadership contact all districts and posts that have not yet submitted a CPR and assist them in completing it for departmental recognition at national convention.
To help you determine your departments’ CPR percentages each day, please check the CPR / CSR Status report for department officers and others with access to Personify.
An online fillable form is located at: legion.org/publications for posts that wish to fill out and mail (or fax) the CPR to their departments. The CPR may also be submitted via myLegion.org and many posts will prefer to transmit it that way. They can also be sent by email to [email protected]. Any department that needs assistance in obtaining their current status may email [email protected].
The deadline for the CPR to be submitted to the national headquarters is June 30, the last business day of the month and we would like to be at 100% by then. After the July 1 cut-off for recognition of your departments’ accomplishments at National Convention, we will continue to accept new and updated CPR submissions throughout the month of July to provide the best information in our important annual report to Congress.
