VHV – Postponment of Annual Picnic VHV Meetings

Angel Juarez, Adjutant, Arizona Department of the American Legion, sent out a statement regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus (attached to this message). As the result of this message Chairperson Ed Hill believes it is in the best interest for the health of our members and the veteran community that the Annual Picnic to be postponed a few months until this virus is no longer a threat.
VHV March and April meetings will be canceled, you will be notified when the next meeting will be held. This is due to COVID-19 and the recommendations of not attending large gatherings especially if you fall into the "People at Risk for Serious Illnesses" category. Should you have information to be shared with VHV members that you would normally provide at the meeting you can email me and I will send it out.
