Unified Arizona Veterans to host a Free Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Nominations Workshop

On October 25, 2019 the Class of 2019, Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame (AVHOF), will be inducted; the Induction Ceremony location will be confirmed in April 2019.
A free AVHOF Nominations Preparation Workshop is scheduled in Phoenix on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 for prospective Nominators. A Nominator can be a family member or a friend of the Arizona veteran being nominated. The postmark due date for all Nominations to the Class of 2019 is Sunday, March 31, 2019. The mailing address for all Nomination packets is: Unified Arizona Veterans, P.O. Box 34338, Phoenix, AZ 85067, Attn: Secretary.
Workshop Location: State Veteran Home Phoenix, 4141 N. Silvestre Herrera Way (former 4141 N. 3rd Street), Phoenix, AZ 85012.

1. Purpose of the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame (AVHOF) Program
2. Brief history of the origin of the AVHOF in 2001
3. Review & Discussion of the Criteria and the Guidelines governing the Nominating of an Arizona veteran
4. Review & Discussion of the Nomination Form itself
5. Tips on how to write the Arizona veteran’s story/essay/narrative
