Welcome to the American Legion Department of Arizona, Post 43 Membership Form. Post 43 is a not a physical post, but yet a virtual post who will meet regularly via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Please use this form to renew your existing membership, apply for new membership, or transfer your membership to Post 43.

You may choose to pay your dues digitally via credit or debit card (please note a small processing fee applies) or pay directly to Post 43. Regardless of your payment method, completing and submitting this form is essential for accurate record-keeping and application processing.

A copy of this completed form will be emailed to the address you provide in the designated 'Email Address' field. Additionally, a copy will be delivered to Post 43 and another will be placed on file at the Department/State Headquarters. Thank you for your commitment to The American Legion."

Important Notice: Verification of Honorable Military Service

By submitting this online membership application, you acknowledge that your eligibility for membership in The American Legion is contingent upon verification of your honorable separation from military service.

• Initial Verification: The Adjutant of the American Legion Post you are applying to will attempt to verify your honorable military service using approved documentation.
• Documentation Requirement: If the Adjutant is unable to verify your service through initial means, you will be required to provide acceptable documentation, such as a DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) or other official military records, to substantiate your eligibility.
• Membership Processing: Your membership application will not be fully processed until this verification is completed and approved by the Post Adjutant.
• Transfer Verification: If you are transferring your membership from American Legion Post 100, your military service documentation may also be subject to verification by the receiving Post, as per the verification guidelines outlined in this statement.
• Accuracy of Information: You confirm that the information provided in this application is accurate and truthful. Providing false information may result in the rejection of your application or revocation of your membership.
